Meetings are held each month on
the 4th Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Legion Hall in

Bunco Party are used to assist veterans at Hines
Hospital. Recent purchases include 10,000 “Nurse
Advise Magnets”, and a mounting arm for a control
unit for wheelchair bound veterans. These gifts
totaled over $2000. We also visit with the
veterans, playing Bingo with them six times a year.

The Village of
River Grove and the River Grove Historical
Commission members have been researching and
rebuilding the Italianate style two-story home. Once
restored, the home will serve as a museum featuring
the history of River Grove and life in the second
half of the 19th century.
The original house consists of a parlor, sitting
room and a bedroom on the first floor and three
bedrooms upstairs. Mr. Buckman added a dining room
and a bathroom. Then at a later date added a
kitchen, pantry, and a closet |
